Introducing: Blender - Live at Black Star Records.
Our Second Crowdfunding Initiative & we can't wait. In July, we will be welcoming the Skate-Punk Trio 'Blender' into our little shop to record a live album for you lovely lot. Anyone is welcome & we encourage all of you to cheer & support on the night as well as share the news on the socials.
What's really special about this crowdfunder is that it all goes directly towards Teddy Rocks Festival and specifically their charity 'Teddy20' that helps & supports children & teenagers with cancer.
It's such a beautiful collaboration that we know that you'll love & support.
We hope to see you on the 27th July for the Instore gig & recording. If you can't make it, we expect Vinyl copies of the live instore to be ready by mid-September.

A Word From The Band!
September 1988. Two 14 year old strangers, sat next to each other in tutor group. One of them, Karl said to the other one called Andy: “What are you reading?”. A perfectly innocent question you would have thought. Andy replied: “Transworld Skateboard Magazine”. In that instant, the known universe imploded and was reborn.
Nine years later a baby called Ben was born with a guitar in his hands. Ben lived his life completely blind to the existence of Andy & Karl who were in a different part of the universe hitting drums and playing the funkiest bass you ever did hear.
2023: Karl sold a skateboard deck to stranger called Ben which was previously owned by Andy. As the stars aligned in October 2023, Andy, Ben and Karl met in Room 4 – "The Punk Room". From this intense meeting was born…. Blender: Skate-Punk lovers delivering their love of pure music direct to your souls.
